Is it December already? This year went by way to fast! Here are the highlights: We had a Chinese exchange teacher come and live with us. Her name is Joanna. She is from Shanghai China and teaches Chinese at the kid’s school. It’s been so fun to hear the kids speak to her and each other in Chinese! She is very kind and we will miss her when she goes back in February.

We finally made it to Disney Land! What a week of memories!

We saw the Redwoods, played in the ocean, pet sharks and learned how to ride banana bikes when we went to Crescent City California.

Ayden is in 3rd grade. He got his Wolf in Cub Scouts, started taking piano lessons, read the Harry Potter series again, twice, discovered he is really interested in geology, started making lunch for the family and learned how to ski.

Jacob is in 1st grade. He lost a few more teeth, started learning to play the violin, swam across the deep end in the pool, helped Scott build a pioneer handcart, loves to rock climb and ride his bike and leaned to ski. He has discovered he loves to play chess, build things with Legos, likes to cook and is becoming a really good reader.

Adeline is talking all the time now. She LOVES birthdays, babies, animals, running, swimming and anything art related. She can spend hours coloring, painting and playing with play dough. This year she had her first hospital stay, started swimming lessons and she went skiing for the first time. She is always on the go with her blanket and binki in toe a smile on her face and lots of hugs.

We went camping at Ensign Ranch.

We did a LOT of Hiking.

We went to Mount St. Helens and learned about volcanos.
